Please not that you may not be able to make a reservation on desired shrine depending on the availability.
However the sooner you apply for the package,
the more chance you may have of wedding ceremony at your favorite shrine on planned date.
Additional Information
- The wedding kimono can be chosen up to one day before the ceremony.
- Please bring or wear a white U-neck / V-neck T-shirt for the Groom on the day of the wedding.
- Please let us know the total number of guests attending at least two weeks prior to the ceremony.
- We are happy to make arrangements for your preferred reception. Please ask for details.
- Wedding ceremony in Japan is not legally binding.

Schedule up to Wedding Date
Please submit the following forms at least two months prior to your planned wedding day.
- Application
- Signed “Terms and Conditions of Agreement”
- Supplementary Information
- ￥100,000 Japanese yen non-refundable deposit which will be applied to the wedding package via PayPal or bank wire transfer.
- For those who chose the wedding package, please select one shrine from the list and submit ceremony site fee along with the deposit.
- Final payment is due at least two weeks prior to the wedding day.
Schedule on Wedding Day
It takes approximately three hours for hair styling, make-up, and dressing before transferring to the shrine. Please be prompt with your time. In the event of any delay, your wedding ceremony may be delayed or cancelled.
Please come to the beauty salon wearing a comfortable outfit.
Please eat before you come to the beauty salon as you will not be able to eat at the shrine.
Sample Wedding Day Time Schedule
(The following is a sample schedule if a noon wedding start time is selected. Other wedding start times are available. )
8:30 amThe couple will be picked up at the hotel.
9:00 amArrive at the beauty salon (hair-styling, makeup, and dressing for the Bride and Groom)
11:00 amDepart to the shrine
11:30 amArrive at the shrine, All guests must be present by this time.
(A brief explanation about the ceremony will be given in Japanese by the shrine staff. )
12:00 ~Wedding Ceremony (For those who purchased the bridal photography option,
12:30 pma commemorative group photo will be taken after the ceremony.)
1:00 pmTransfer to the beauty salon(Change out of rental clothes if no wedding reception is planned.)
2:00 pmReturn to the hotel or transfer to the reception site
Other Services with Additional Fees:
- Professional photographer at ceremony site. (approximately 100 images) ￥75,000 (plus tax)
Images are transferred via internet. Those who prefer the images on a CD ROM are responsible for the shipping and handling costs. - Interpreter ￥40,000 (plus tax)
- Lunch and/or dinner for Bride and Groom (price varies)
- Wedding reception (price varies)
- Taxi service for your guests (price varies and is paid directly to the driver.)
Payment and Cancellation Policy:
- At the time of application, please include a￥100,000 non-refundable deposit which will be applied to the wedding package.
- For those who chose the wedding package, please submit ceremony site fee along with the deposit.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full at least two weeks prior to your wedding day.
- We accept PayPal or a wire-transfer from your bank on a Japanese yen basis.
- Receipt is given upon request.
- In case of postponement or cancellation, please refer to the Wedding Terms and Conditions policy.
- All transactions use the exchange rate of the day they are processed.
